A little behind….

Yes, there were things going on around the farm this Spring, I’m just a little late posting them!

First, in February we brought our little valentine AWOL home from Gryphon Tor. Thank you so much to Linda and Eric Carlson! This little guy has stolen our hearts.

On St. Patrick’s Day Fussy welcomed Seamus into the world, a very handsome 5+ pound single bouncing(literally) buckling.

Just a week later Ice gave us two beautiful little twin girls, Poppy and Ginger. One girl will be available.

Ironwood Ranch Atomic Fireball sired all of our 2014 kids and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He has passed on tighter shoulders and sharpness, his wonderful rear leg angulation and nice tight toes 🙂

Well, here we go again….

It’s getting to be that time of year around here, our first goat birth of 2014 will be some time today! Peach is remaining quite calm for a first freshener and thankfully it is not the middle of the night 🙂 We are also set for ADGA Linear Appraisal this Spring and our first year on DHI Milk Test. There are still reservations available for kids this Spring and two of our Juniors will be bred this Spring for Fall babies! On a poultry note, the kids (children) are about to put the first batch of eggs into our new Brinsea Mini Advance Incubator, so we’ll report back on how that works out 21 days from now!
